Ju Pyong

• 1929 4.5 Born in Janhae city, South Gyeongsan Province and grew up at Tongyeong City
• Studied premedical course at Yeonsei University and graduated from Busan University majoring in English literature.
• Taught at Tongyeong Women's High School, wrote articles for education magazines, and acted as a reporter for Youth Hanguek Ilbo.
• 1953 Won Nationwide Children's Drama Competition with title “Rabbit ”.
• 1958 Won "Hanpoong-Jidae" sponsored by National Theatre and Seoul Newspaper.
• 1959. Completed two dramas (A song of Sungya and Black and White) which were requested by Yu Chi-jin.
• 1962 Established a theatrical troupe "Birds" for Children and Children Play Association of Korea first in Korea. He was acting as the president until 1976

• 1972 Acted as the president of Student Play Association of Korea (Middle and High School Students)
• 1973 First time in Korean history, he recorded his works such as Masons (4th grader), A blacksmith in forest (4th grader), The legend of Island (6th grader), Christmas Song (6th grader) for 22 years until 1995 in elementary school Hanguel text books.
• His books. Collective Children's Play Books 10 volumes, Theoretical books 2 volumes, Dram books for middle and high school students 2 volumes, Dram books for Adults 1 book(Joint Authorship), Essays 3 volumes, Drama book by Ju Pyong 1 volume
• 1976 His family including himself have Immigrated to the U.S.
• 1989 Formed an acting troupe called “The Golden Gate Bridge” in northern California. Performed six times so far.
• 1993 Established children acting troupe 『Mindulrae』 first in the history of Korean immigration to the U.S.
• 1994 The children acting troupe『Mindulrae』has performed "Kongji and Patji
• 1996 Performed in Korea by invitation of KBS
• 1997 The children acting troupe『Mindulrae』has performed "Kongji and Patji" in Hiroshima, Japan, celebrating establishment of Japanese Consulate General
• 1998-1999 Published his works "My life", "My literature", "My Play" serially in Hanguek Ilbo, San Francisco for two years.
• 1999 Opened a theater for the old (All participants are over 60 years old) and performed “Marriage into a family”.
• 2000 The theater for the old performed the 2nd time with “Choonhangjeon by the old”.
• 2001 The children acting troupe『Mindulrae』performed "Kongji and Patji" in Silicon Valley, the U.S. 7 times. Performed in San Francisco on May 19.
• 2001 The children acting troupe 『Mindulrae』 performed its 3rd oversea performance in Japan on June 7 in Osaka. Performed in the grand theater at Art an Culture Promotion Center on July 1 in Korea.
• 2002 Ju Pyong Children Play Hallyeosudo (Sponsored by Tongyeong City) was held at Tongyeong City.
• 2003 Serial publish of the world best children's story for two years.
